Professional and friendly office

Everyone is so nice and accommodating. It's a very comfortable office.

Dr. McMillin was very thorough and did an amazing job! I typically get very nervous when going to the dentist, but he made it a very pleasant experience. Hands down the best at using the dreaded needle to numb the mouth, literally didn't even know he had injected me. If you're looking for the best in Jax look no further than Doctor's lake family dental. He's a stud to boot!

From start to finish, by far the BEST OF THE BEST!!! The front staff have such a professional, very very sweet, and empathetic demeanor. I am ways taken back while I am there because every single personality in that practice is so welcoming and warm. This is going to be long..so, I apologize in advance. You will want to keep reading. I have had ALOT of issues with my teeth. As a child, had braces, got best smile in high school year book and was a very confident individual. When I got pregnant with my first baby, my teeth started to take a turn for the worse!! My mother had very soft teeth and unfortunately, I must have inherited them and my first and subsequent pregnancies just tore up my mouth. I didn't have dental insurance and when you have children, the priority of getting yourself treated becomes low on the totem pole....well, it was for me. My kids have beautiful teeth and are grown now. All of those years, I neglected to take dental care seriously. I brushed, flossed religiously but when there were problems, I waited and waited until it was too late and started to just get them pulled one by one because it was the quickest, least expensive way to solve the problem and get out of pain. Anyone who has tooth pain knows it's the worst!!! So, now I am 52 and need ALOT of work. So, after being confident pretty much my whole life...not so much now and I hesitated for THE longest time to go and be seen....out of embarrassment and being positive that i would be judged. I finally made an appt with Dr. Dayn Boitet. I met him during an appointment with his beautiful wife. During our conversation I found out that he was a dentist and I thought...its now or never, this was a sign because I was in pain all the time anymore. Sooo, in I went. From the second I walked in, I was treated like I was around family members. Like, ive never had that much caring, and dare I say loving auras around me at one time. I immediately knew, my mouth was just another mouth and their first priority beyond making me feel welcome and cared about was getting me out of pain. That they did😊. I admit, I feared opening my mouth...because anyone can be nice at first...but they hadn't seen my teeth yet😬. To my surprise, there was no awkward looks, no comments of disgust, and no whispered side bars with other staff members...all of which I had experienced before😪. They took their time, they created a treatment plan, and took everything and explained to me in layman's terms for me to understand and comprehend. I knew this was going to be a great mission to execute and that it was going to take time, money, and patience...(the patience on their behalf). They told me that I had alot to do and endure, which I figured...but after that, all positive and exciting news. They told me that I would be able to smile with confidence, eat with comfort, and no more pain!!!! The point that I have taken so long to make is that...they, everyone in that office has changed my life and did it with such professionalism, grace, and compassion. Im still in awe of how Doctor Dayn has managed to build this business and acquire such amazing staff members. You know the saying that there's always one in a group that isn't as desirable ....well, not this office. He has got a staff that is just as amazing as he is!!!
